My name is Sharon Thompson and I am a passionate educator with more than 10 years of teaching experience in K – 8th grade in New York city. I have been involved in education reform in New York city public and independent schools. Most of my experience is as a technology educator and technology staff developer. I taught students integrated technology curriculum with Math, English, History, Science, and Foreign languages. I founded an award winning robotics team at a middle school in New York city. I have taught in a wide range of schools from public schools in the South Bronx to elite independent schools on the Upper East side.  I wrote my masters thesis on using online primary sources to teach history.
